I highly recomend watching angry joes interview. Kingdom under fire 2 will come out for PC and PS4, obviously the PS4 Version will come out later but probably still in 2015, for PC the beta allready started. Dont be fooled by it being free to play, the games visuals and content looks somthing like it could compete with the likes of dragon age. 

I liked the the second game of the series, kingdom under fire heroes on the original xbox. The series in fact had its roots on consoles, at least the majority of the earlier games. I dont get how this game sunk under my radar.

Why is the only console release on the ps4? Have they said..

Dont know, most of the games were on xbox only not even on pc. The ps4 is much more popular in korea now, so i guess they prefer now playstation after the PC. But i wouldnt be suprised them doing an xbox version as most of the games in the series were on xbox previously, the fan base should be there more.

Like 10 years ago when this game was first announced it was for the 360. Then after several years of development they got ticked off at some of Microsoft's policies and switched it to PS3 - which, since the slow bastards have still not finished the game, has turned into the PS4 for obvious reasons.

It looks decent and is a nice blend of one of my fave genres (RTS), after a quick look up, the series first started on PC and then afterwards went with Xbox for 3 titles with the 4th latest one just being PS4/PC, I'd imagine maybe XB1 getting a port sometime down the road since it's a F2P title.

Also I thought F2P games were a bad thing since according to some bar charts "most" PC players play those, I'll admit I love playing Planetside 2 without paying a penny but I'd rather buy my games once and that's that (WoW is the only exception for me), though I do like GW2's pay model for their online game.

Can't wait to see Joe's review of this and I wonder which version he'll go with.
