I agree with that.  The only publisher that comes close to Nintendo is Sony, imo.  Last year, my top three games were SMG, Uncharted, and God of War 2.  The latter two were developed by Sony, yet even combined they can't touch SMG or TP's sales.

This year, my most hyped game is MGS4, a third party, and after that SSBB and LBP.  I'm not sure which of the latter two I'll end up liking more, and LBP is definitely an unknown quantity as far as sales go, but it shows that, for me at least, Sony and Nintendo are by far the top dogs, with Nintendo having an edge.

No i'am just sitting back enjoying the ignorance, i always wonder how can people be so ignorant these days. Is their ignorance nature over nurture, a problem of the way they were raised or an out come of todays education system or are we just failing as a species with out natural selection.

Sony most certainly has quantity. They employ more developers than Nintendo and MS combined.  If anything, it's the quality they're lacking and not quantity.

Actually, I don't think it's either.  It's just that Sony's IPs aren't as iconic as Nintendo's, so they don't have as large of fanbases and thus don't sell as well.

Sony's developers are constantly working on new IP, and because of this none of the old IP have the chance to gain the notoriety of characters like Mario, Sonic, or Link.  If Sony had kept the Crash and Spyro IPs, so that Insomniac and Naughty Dog wouldn't have had to switch to R&C and J&D, how much more famous would they be now?  Especially since the newer games would've still been good. 

For Mars with love:

The Wii has yet to see as many high quality third party titles as the PS3, has yet to see the marketing push that third party PS3 titles have had, the games cost less to develop, and sales of third party Wii games (in general) are better than third party PS3 games.
