 That's bogus.  It's not that MS and Sony make bad games.  They just don't have the numerous IPs that Nintendo does. They have quality.  It's just that Nintendo has both quality and quantity.

 in case you dont know at one point Nin barely had any competition, most of those top sellers are from those days  back when gaming was pretty much all nin.

^But it is true, look back. Nintendo has always had the best game, the most intuitive game, or the best selling game each generation, and sometimes all three. Do you think that fans of other franchises can't admit that?

-Sony joined the console wars a result of Nintendo's actions.(Nintendo CD)
-Nintendo Created the basic system of gaming we live by today.

And how does one get a monopoly? Be being better than all the others. That's why the PS2 had a monopoly of its gen for several years - because it was better than the Dreamcast. Yet no-one seems to say "Oh, that PS2 game doesn't count, it was made when the PS2 was only competing against the N64".
