Wow at type 0 and Bloodborne. 2 skus in the top 20 2 weeks out. It is trending better than the order (the order never had both SKUs in the top 20, it peaked at 6 a day or 2 before launch) which opened to over 500k, Bloodborne 6-700k week one? Maybe better because it will get a great reception in Japan.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

It is almost hard to believe that Final Fantasy Type-0 is doing that good. It is only a PSP game with 60$ pricetag afterall.

It doesn't matter how many say that Final Fantasy is dead, It is still a very strong franchise.

Yeah type O passing a psn card shows its the real deal. Bloodborne collectors edition doing great numbers.

VGchartz pre-orders as of 28th Feb. almost 2 weeks behind.

Not that I believe the pre-orders numbers are accurate. They are far from that.

I hope so too, its definitely got my sale. Already paid for it on PSN for NY day 0 (-2) download. And a friend of mine that is a die hard souls fan just ordered a PS4 off amazon. Not gonna lie was envious of him getting 3 free games that I paid for in full :(

I'm guessing Bloodborne does 3M worldwide in its first year.

Well there´s little (almost 0) chance for a PC or other console port. But if there ever would be one announced, it would be Sony who announces it as they own the Bloodborne IP.

I think both it and FFXV have caught the eyes of many JRPG and Final Fantasy fans/x-fans who have been turned off by the later Final Fantasy (single player) offerings, especially the XIII trilogy.  I know personally that I have run into people who detested the XIII trilogy and mark it as the low point of the series who are interested in FF XV.  It's something fresh, something new, a different direction while still having a dash of familiarity.  Sometimes that's just what a franchise needs.
