max curse of brother hood, ori, splosion man for xbox. Yeah.

I don't know how many of those are first party. What comes to mind is Halo, Gears, Crackdown, Perfect Dark etc.

Who cares what comes to mind!? It's what it is. just becuase they're not as popular as nintendo's or ms's mature games, Doesnt mean they dont exist and ms doesnt care about them. And everysingle one is first party besides for ori, but im 99% certain  ms owns the ip for ori

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

Around the Network

OP you got it completely wrong. SO wrong that i am actually amazed of how wrong U R O_O!

the $40 price point its nothing new on MS and sony sides. When it comes to software, no companie charges more than nintendo u know...

Hasn't Sony done this with Journey, flower, etc? I feel like that's the same concept, essentially. Except those have less content.

And SLy cooper, Ratchet and Clank, The puppeteer, those countles remaster collections, and a lot of 3rd parties games as well.

And that is why Nintendo stands out when the others don't. Who else but Nintendo would spin off a main character for their own franchise that is completely different? Captain Toad is a great game in its own right. You don't see Cole Trains own sports game.

Edit: Well they're not completely different, but its a main character that got his own game.

Nintendo can spin off games because their games are the only reason people buy their console. So the more, the better. And halo wars sold like 3 million I think.

Hey, and maybe Sony can try streaming interviews with developers and gameplay reveals at the next E3, too. That would be nifty. This new streaming technology Nintendo came up with is awesome. The rest of the internet is so behind.

Completely different franchises but bunch of games in the same genre. There is lack of diversity in Nintendo portfolio when compared to MS/Sony.

MS has been publishing (their own IPs) FPS, TPS, Racing Sim/Arcade, Platformer, etc... plus, during X360 era MS pushed tons of Arcade games that went from Flying games to RTSs.

Both microsoft and Sony invest in smaller budget titles.

Microsoft

AA Titles

Killer Instinct
Project Spark
Zoo Tycoon
Screamride
State of Decay

Indie Titles

Ori and the Blind Forest
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood
Kalimba

^ All First party titles. Sony does the same as shown with games like Resogun, Ratchet, Sly, Journey, etc  Mix of AA and indies

Are you being facetious? I'd say EA likely charges the most for their games (I include day 1 DLC, season passes, and the price of online play although not EA's fault, also factors a bit).  Nintendo doesn't charge more they just take a looong time in most cases to drop much from the original price.  I guess I just don't see them nickle and dime-ing their user base. Most Nintendo games all you ever pay is that one time retail price.
