Forums - Microsoft - Sony & Microsoft discuss Blu Ray drive for 360

^Why don't you list the 3 SKU's and all their features and compare them for me, we'll see how simple it is. Also name advantages and disadvantages of each one please.

Cool...I always wanted to be a salesman for best buy.

"good afternoon sir...how can i help you...a 360 you say... well let me tell you what we offer."

1. We have the arcade model...it features all the gaming functions of the next gen xbox 360 and is the cheapest one. You will not be able to download movies and other multimedia features with this model as it doesn't have a hard drive. This model does not come with cables that will give you best performance on your LCD TV. You can purchase those separatly.

2. We have the model called premium. This model comes with everything you get with the arcade unit but also a 20 GB hard drive, a headset and component cables for your LCD TV. Don't worry, your normal CRT tv works with the cables as well."

3. The top dog is the Elite. This comes with a 120 GD hard drive for large amount of download storage. You can fit up to 30 movies on this drive.

Also keep in mind sir that all of these units may need a wireless adapter if you have a wireless network in your house. Unlike the wii, they do come with an ethernet port if you don't mind using the wired network.

Hows that? Even my mom I think would be clear with this no? :)

What kind of ports do each have? What media? How many USBS? How many supported controllers?

You left out a lot of information bud.

What about this dastardly RROD I hear about?

What about my old Xbox collection, and controllers? What games come with each version? How many controllers come with each version?

Can I put my own harddrive on the arcade version? Can I put my own harddrive in any version for that matter?

There is no difference between any ports form arcade, premium and elite... all new models come with 2 usb's, 1 wireless adapter usb, lan port, memory card slot and hdmi port. There is nothing to explain there as people would not be missing out anything form one unit to the other.

as far as RRoD, some things customers need to find out themselves...:)

You are going off topic here...all this stuff PS3 salesman has to explain as well. We are covering differences between 3 xbox SKU's here...not features of the console.

I asked you to list all the features, differences, and advantages and disadvantages of each SKU.

Not to mention the price points, you forgot those.

No you didn't. you changed your original post to say that after you realized you were told exactly what the differences were between the 3xobox skus...
