Agreed as long as when you say Mario you mean a 3D Mario like a sequel to Galaxy 2.

Yeah, I mean a 3D Mario. Those always get crazy high Metacritic scores.

If Metacritic would get their act together and remove/ban those troll reviewers then yes we could but untill then i highly doubt it will happen anytime soon because with the big hyped games there's always a reviewer that's gonna give it a low score just for clicks or because they dislike the certain console.

Splatoon will do it... There I said it. It's a critics wet dream. New IP with interesting original characters in an aging genre with new mechanics (controlling the stage is more benificial than killing Inklings) that seems to have a wealth of customization. If the game has a decent campaign length and a few online modes (or hell, maybe a new mode altogether) then it could pull it off. And you know what? I think it will.

The problem with that would be how do people know they are trolling vs they just honestly didn't have that great of an experience with the game?
