Forums - Gaming - The Order 1886 reviews proves gaming journalism is a farce and a disgrace. (9 out of 10)

I'm not going to defend this game much, but a 1 out of 5 score is pretty ridiculous. I would tend to think "click-bait" more than Microsoft giving money, though.

Also I think FFXIII tells an immersive story with excellent polished gameplay but the majority of this forum disagrees with me which makes all of this forum and its mother a farce and a disgrace.

FFXIII is one of my most favorite games of all time... Story was amazing... I almost completed the game 5 times

So when Sony gamr gets a few bad reviews or scores and doesn't squash an Xbox title it's heresey and journo's are morally corrupt but when Xbox games get that treatment and get shunned it;s totally fine?, I honestly don't egt the logic of people this generation, it's either full on gloating when they get good reviews or it;s victimising oneself with stockholm syndrome thrown into the mix.

Don't know why but this gen I'm also seeing Sony players throwing in Xbox games in contrast to making theirs look better (just like how the OP mentions Gears being basically shit and forgetting it's an opinion and not a fact which at the end of the day means bugger all to the common man not wanting to give the time of day, will 7 billion do that?, nope).

If there's one thing I;m sick of this generation it's how annoying gamers have gotten when they really get deep down and root for one company vs another and it;s fanbase instead of just bloody gaming and shutting up about reviews, I catch up on vids, images, podcasts and videos/reviews in order to make my purchases, I'd rather do all that than merely look at a few meta scores and review numbers to deliberately root for a company instead of using the former to help make the purchase, if you were going to buy it in the first place then why bother with reviews?, why the hell does it suddenly matter of all times?, all I can get out of the insane amount of order threads is that this game has to surpass gears, it has to crush Nintendo and Xbox games and win GOTY and get every single gamer to buy it, that's the inital message I;m getting from that one console's set of fans pure and simple and it's getting well and truly out of hang with the amount of defence threads this one game has gotten.

I'll say this though, if Quantum Break doesn't get this many type of threads from it's own set of core fans (yes core being Xbox userbase and not Sony) it will definitely be telling of what Jim Sterlin harked years ago about the Sony userbase: http://www.destructoid.com/fact-ps3-fanboys-are-the-worst-149259.phtml

I don't even care if Quantum reviews badly, all I know is on here the circle is going to be complete and I'll expect those that defended TO to simply attack Quantum because fuck logic and letting go right?.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

See, even more proof that everyone else is wrong.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I remember Advent Rising on the original XBOX was just phenomenal, IMO, and it got hammered in the reviews. I played through that game so many times and am bummed to this day that it failed and didn't get the trilogy that was promised.
