I wouldn't suggest messing with them because:

A. Unless you have someone who can say you were in your bed the whole time, it's not a very good alibi....
B. As you said yourself, you hate the place and they know it, and that sounds like a possible motive to the cops.

 Don't mess with the police on purpose, but tell the truth.  If that's what the above is, then fine...  If you hate the store you should tell them that but tone it down a bit...  Definitely doin't lie, as I am sure they will be able to find someone who says you hate the store, and a lie will be far more suspicious then the truth.

HAHAHAHA so I called my old boss and he had no clue I was a suspect. He's silly and he was joking about me being a suspect with one of the co workers but he didn't know the cops actually were trying to get a hold of me. He is upset with the supervisor now because that's obviously who dropped my name.

OT - you do realize the police can access your PC and find your IP address, your chat here and make your life miserable? As a minority, I was raised to never, ever cross the authorities. You think it's a game - you will end up like that jackass who said 'Don't tase me, bro!'

They're just calling you in for questioning. I'm sure they're questioning everybody that works or has worked at the place recently.

Definitely no game. The last thing you want to do is be charged for something and have to pay a lawyer. Even if you're completely innocent, the legal fees come out of your pocket. You may be laughing now, you may be crying later when you see the bill or worse.

Anyway the last I had to do with them(the company) was 3 months ago. That's why it's pretty entertaining. I also know they lock the money in the safe that's inside the safe. I also know the combination of both safes. I also know the combination of both safes in 3 other stores that I had access to keys to. If I really wanted to I would have been a very rich man right about now. Wait for a Friday night and I could walk away with 8,000 in one store 4k in 2 others and 3k in the slowest store.

So the fact that I'm a suspect is silly. Petty vandalism... I'd leave that for the supervisors house.

No they aren't. I haven't worked for this particular store in over a year. I also talked to someone who just recently quit that store a couple weeks ago.  (Assistant Manager) and they havent tried getting a hold of him

Tell the cops that it couldn't of been you because at that time you were robbing the liqour store down the street.

 Oh.  Damn.  Well, the best I can tell is to be 100% honest, and try to stay calm. 

I would tell you to not act supicious, but that would probably just make you nervous, making you act even more supicious, lol.
