What surprises me the most is seeing reviewers give higher scores to broken games than actual working ones.

If he's including art direction i'd almost agree (there really aren't enough games that excel both graphically and artistically to the degree TO:1886 does, though the latter is obviously subjective), but on a purely technical level that would be a pretty silly thing to claim.
For a console title it's an absolute marvel, and i can't personally seeing it being trumped for quite a while, but including PC? Lol. |
To make such a bold and upfront claim doesn't really leave much room for reading between the lines.
I figured this would get mixed to negative reviews for some reason. But if Ryse: Son of Rome is any indication, it'll still be great for the fans who buy it. It's funny how people criticized Ryse for its 7-8 hour campaign (though it had online features for longevity) but now the same people defend The Order for its shorter length and lack of longevity.
Exactly what real gamers were expecting. You could see from the very start this would be another boring TPS with a QTE fetish. But most gamers somehow automatically correlate beautiful graphics to a great experience: it does not.
Welp, thats a lot lower than I was thinking. Essssh

Ladies and gentleman, I've like to direct your attention to a post were somebody who I assume is actually being serious. Used the term, REAL GAMERS.
Feel free to explain that if you wish.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
I am very interested to see how much the reviews will hurt the sales. What others choices do we have in games?

Shouldn't people still be able to return it as long as it's still in the cellophane wrap? |
Should be able to, but Im not familiar with Gamestop's return policy. I shop there maybe once a year. I was just saying its to late to cancel it before it ships.
Very polarizing reviews. TPS games are amongst the best genres, period, but this one does look like the rental I expected it to be.
