12 hours??? I thought it was 7? (4-5 without the cutscenes I think)

So a neogaf user has more credibility than reviews and actual videos? Also if you read the article, its pretty wtf... He says 12 hours of gameplay and he still hasn't finished it... Yea, thats not really believable at all

So, a reviewer says 7 hours, 2 videos say 5 hours and 6 hours, and a guy from neogaf says 12...why should we believe the neogaf guy?

and do you believe more with this people http://www.dualshockers.com/2015/02/04/early-the-order-1886-player-debunks-rumor-on-five-hour-long-playthrough/

Thats a very ignorant thing to say and QTE's IS gameplay.

But they aren't fun :/

the QTE on wonderful 101 are kinda fun :P

The ones in Bayonetta 2 are also a bit "engaging", just to mention a recent game and for the sake of saying something. But some QTEs are about pressing buttons during cutscenes. Those aren't fun and feel like you're playing with your DVD player.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

-The Order is not 12 hours, is around 6 and there was video proof of it

-The Order is 6 hours with 3 hours being cut scenes and 1 hour being QTEs events, thats only 2 hours of gameplay

-Gears has Coop and Competitive Multiplayer

Thats a very ignorant thing to say and QTE's IS gameplay.

There are whole chapters where you only do QTEs, thats not gameplay thats like saying "you see you are still playing".

That was before the 2 videos and a review came out. At this point the only proof of how long this game is now are walkthroughs and reviews. Some guy writing on Neogaf about how he's taking his time isn't going to cut it. When the embargo lifts we'll see the truth.

So what do you want me to look at cause I can't really see them saying it lasted 12 hours or more?

theres a whole laundry list of games, exclusive and third party, that can be beat much quicker than originally intended, in the end, if youre the type of person that runs through a game and beats it on the default difficulty then calls it a day, youre probably the type of person that rents the majority of their games.

If youre the type to play through multiple difficulties, and search out all the collectables/etc, then this game will last a hell of a lot more than 7 hours.

Its entirely down to the type of player.

So many threads about this game and we still haven't gotten past this yet? Average play time on NeoGaf is 10 hours. pretty much all of them have fallen between 8 and 13. Oh, and it's 2 hours of cutscenes and 11 minutes of QTE.

So much misinformation on this game...

You are wrong, there was video proof of the short gameplay time and huge amount of cutscenes and QTEs, there are whole chapters of only QTEs, the video  was erased but everyone saw it. RAD expect people to admire a collective for 30 minutes.
