But these constant 5 hour headlines are not good, they filter down to the casuals and they never hear the truth.

I've watched a few more video's and it seemed to me the individual knew what to do, which might suggest that this wasn't his first playthrough.

So we might be looking at around 8-10 hours on your first playthrough, which is your average campaign for a modern shooter. Not bad at all, but that doesn't excuse that poor final boss fight. Yuck!

That was 6 hours, and he played it on easy too. These youtubers that make early playthroughs always want to go as fast as possible so they can be the first people to upload these things, cause that's a good way of getting lots of views. everyone starts to link to it. If someone already uploaded before you, then you lost your opportunity. Just compare early playthroughs of any game (for example Uncharted) to their usual reported length and you'll see the difference.

I´ve seen most of the gameplay, and the guy is not running, he is playing normal, he even takes time to "explore" some scenario (there´s almost nothing to explore btw).

I knew this game would be very weak, but this is a truly surprise, because the game is even worse than I though

The story is not so great, the gameplay is mediocre at best, is absolutly plenty of CGI, is so short that feels like a joke and the final boss battle... Omg, that final boss, i´m sorry, is one of the worst endings I´ve seen in my life, a QTE where they say you every moment what you have to press... I´ve been banned 2 times on this page for saying that the game would be bad, i´m angry now, because I was completely right, is very very bad imo.

And please, don´t ban me, i´m expecting Bloodborne or Persona 5 being very good, this is my honest opinion, The Order is really bad.

So final boss fight is dissappointing, sucks to hear that
But hope the game is still great. I mean games like Bioshock had a horrible final boss fight and it was still a fantastic game.

But dont let that stop people from insisting its a 5 hour game, after all, you can beat ocarina of time in 18 minutes, how short you can blaze through a game really means nothing.

i have heard different versions of the game length story. I'll buy this game regardless, but no matter how much I love games like this, I will not spend $60 on a 5-7hr game. if the game ends up being that short then I'll wait for a discount.

I think this is something devs have to learn. there is nothing really wrong with making a small game, but when you make it's small and then it's also easy by today's gamers standards then what you have is a short game. The way I see it, the reason games like resident evil 2 were never considered short even though they were finished in under 3hrs was because you would spend 20hrs playing those three hours. The game were far less forgiving and harder all round.

if devs wanna make games short, up the difficulty to 11.
