It's now at 10,005, and I broke into the 5 digits with the "Game Over, Man!" Exo Zombies achievement in CoDAW

So, uh... What exactly is so great about having a gamerscore? 

1000 gamerscore = 1 Platinum. So you have the equivalency of 10 Platinum games on Playstation.

I have 31.149 G. no idea what's so great about it. I like achievements, because they give a reason to keep playing the game.

I WILL admit: the only reason I did the "Game Over, Man!" achievement was because it seemed like an interesting challenge, lol

Well I'm not use to gamerscores but im a trophy hunter so this was the best way I can think of a converstion that would make sense to me.  I know its not accurate since alot of the gamerscores could've been accumulated from playing hundreds of games but it gives me a general idea.

It gives you a sense of accomplishment and achievements can add replay value. It's also helpful in showing what you've done in games.
