It's just speculation, no different than people talking about it in a forum. Shinobi (GAF) said there are no such talks in place atm and that the news is just that, speculation.
RAD also expressed, previously, a desire to remain independent. That can change, but I don't know if it'd happen right away.
Few days ago Ru gave a speech at Dice about being an independent studio, I doubt getting bought is anywhere in his mind right now. Maybe after this generation.
RAD is set on making sequels to The Order anyway, and the IP belongs to Sony, so whether they are bought or not they'll still be acting as if they were a first party studio for a few years.

I bet they will since The Order is set to sell well.

But I'd like to see them aquiring more studios like Evolution or Media Molecule (more focused on fun games / gameplay). They already have tons of studios making cinematic games.

basically in a nutshell hopefully if they acquired them,hopefully it ends well and the game doesnt do bad to make it a bad purchase

Frankly, it happens to often to be believable.  So, I just ignore anything from that user.

I actually think PwerlvlAmy had a legit opinion. She wasn't saying the game would turn out bad if Sony bought them. She was saying it would look bad for Sony if this game ends up bad, because it would make people question their purchase. Now if it ends up good, then Sony would look like totally wise.
