Evolve has a chance to beat BF: Hardline for best selling this quarter. However, I don't expect either to do all that well.

The beta is actually fun.

Its not competing for $ with a dozen other games like BF usually did holidays time. Its a big franchise, will get marketing push. Its core is solid.

Flop? No. It will sell aight

The Battlefield name alone will sell enough copies to make sure it's profitable. It won't be a big hit though.
