Forums - Gaming - Have any crazy ideas for how to hijack E3? (Other than announcing a particular game or project.)

This is purely about having crazy formats for an E3 presentation. One occurred to me that would be pretty interesting if hard to execute.

Hire a third party to put an app on all three consoles and Steam that they say to the platform holders and gamers will let them and their (unnamed) partners put demos of their games, in an almost 'Wario Ware meets trailer' press conference stream, then bait and switch with your exclusives demo-ing on your rivals consoles, with score tallies (also showing you how well your friends are doing) that motivate players to keep going even after their own consoles start their press conferences...

That'd be epic, add Nintendo Princesses On Ice for their one! :D

Put Angelina Joulie naked to present the E3 show-off.

I think Nintendo having a large live concert for music from Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, and so on would be pretty awesome. Plus you could use it to make some special announcements, like showing of Super Mario Galaxy 3 when the orchestra suddenly plays the SMG2 trailer theme. Or a new F-Zero when they bust out the Mario Kart 8 Mute City remix. I think it could be interesting. Might also be cool to use the pseudo-holograms they use for vocaloid concerts to have various haracters walk out on stage/on a platform when their music is played. Just for the spectacle.

Release you're e3 video a week early to steal all the media attention before e3, except leave out your major game. And then boom you win e3

old skool

Just a thought: For the Sony conference, stage a skit to interrupt one of the boring executive talks. Maybe use someone like Gabe Newell to try and head for the microphone to say something, but just before he has the chance, security takes him and escorts him off the stage and he disappears. Make that his one and only appearance in the entire expo, and fans will go nuts.

Nintendo Digital Event : Treehouse live gameplay coverage, fighting CEO's, trailers, trailers, trailers, fun and exciting stuff.
