Forums - Gaming - Thinking about starting a video stream.

I've spoken to some friends.  We're all pretty much in agreement that we'd want to do some youtube uploads of all types of different games. And, you know, we're all good at fighting games.  We can do 4P TTT2, for example without that one person that just doesn't know how to play.

I've got an idea of the capture software I need.  I have over 130 games on my PS3, and will most definitely take requests as to what to play.  Fighting games will almost always be played online, or local couch play, with 4p in most cases.  Starting out, I'll only be able to do HD consoles, but I want to move over to sega genesis and dreamcast as well for 4p Power stone 2 battles.

Also, we'll be able to do 8-player smash brothers, in 60FPS, but not commonly, as it takes a lot to get 8 people together for that.

I have some questions, though.

Does anyone know if this thing produces display lag?

Fighting games, cannot have noticeable lag of any kind, or someone's going to complain.  What I want to do is 60FPS, HD, with lag at a minimum.  Questions?  Comments?  Requests.

Around the Network

Instead of making a new thread, I just took an old one, and re-made it. Really need some advice. Looking to get my first video up as early as next week.
