HOWEVER, you can trust ME, when I say that this game is going to be great. I've seen enough to know.. more than those videos of the 1st chapter posted in a different thread. What I expected RAD to bring on top of what was being shown publicly is there, and it's high quality work in every aspect (gameplay, audio, visuals, story etc).
With the exception of niche games that i'm personally into a lot (like the Atelier series), right now I believe this will be the best game I've played since the release of TLOU and may remain unchallenged for quite some time.
If you loved TLOU, the only way I see you not loving this game, is if you don't like the idea of TLOU's stealth focus being replaced with a mix of Gears+Resident Evil gunplay (and melee boss fights).

If he didn't know what he was talking about he'd be banned and he wouldn't be a Bish approved insider. How he chooses to express himself is neither here nor there but obviously it's still a subjective opinion; although if you put this with all the other possitive comments from people who have played the game, it's getting more likely that he's NOT exaggerating.

Oh damn, nevermind. I thought we were talking about someone else (from reddit) haha. Yes I know that particular gaffer..forget what I said about him. Sorry I should have read your post with more attention instead of jumping into the conclusion that you were talking about the same guy that's been talked about in other places.

Review Embargo ends a day before release apparently, dunno if that's worth its own thread but it's a somewhat positive sign after all the games that didn't get reviews out until launch.

The Order 1886: Early User Reports Over 12 Hours of Gameplay; Screenshot Shows Gruesome Gore Effects.

There have been extreme rumors lately about the duration of the order, including absolutely ridiculous claims on it lasting three hours, already debunked by developers at Ready at Dawn. Interestingly, veteran NeoGAF user OsirisBlack is actually playing the game, and he reports that he hasn’t yet finished the story after 12 hours and a half of gameplay.
