The ice arrow change and Deku and Zora changes tick me off. Those three changes serve only to annoy veteran players.

How mentally challenged does Nintendo think we are? The ice arrow change irks me so much for some reason.
so, seems that changes will make those who hate MM like the game, and those who loved MM will be pissed.
imo, i can live with the changes. the only i think doesnt make any sense is the ice arrow...
lets see when i play.
Huh.
The Zora Link change is one thing, but the Ice Arrow thing is indeed pretty stupid. That doesn't even make sense. Zelda games don't give away such sollutions to puzzles, or in this case said puzzles weren't supposed to be solvable in such a straight-forward way. Same goes for the Notebook, though if it really spells out every quest and every quest-related item. The save system is also butchered, they might as well have done away with the statues altogether and have a traditional style of saving instead. It used to be, with the Song of Time, fully integrated with the mechanics of the 3-Day system and made sense in the theme of the game adding urgency and tension.
I agree with the video and it seems like the remake ruins a lot of the game's fundamentals. I'm not sure I'm very happy with that. We'll see when I play it.
The remake does look very pretty at least

Kind of in the same boat. It was satisfying to save via Song of Time. It felt complete as Andre pointed out. I guess I understand Nintendo wanting to make the game accessible, but it does come at a cost. At least there's the original for purist.
