Where do you work??

I'm actually looking to get into the industry, which is why I want to go.

i am self enployed with my own company. one of the things i own and run is a youtube channel. over 800k subscribers, it's gaming related so i have many contacts. i was going to apply through the official form for a media pass but it's BS some of the shit I need to do. SO i'm asking game companies instead. not going instead but two french guys who i employ want to go. 

With that money I can buy myself a PS4, the games I want, and I'd have leftover money for a small treat.

Honestly, this feels like pure robbery if this doesn't include entrances to XBox, EA, Ubisoft and Sony's conferences. I'm happy watching the stream from the comfort of my home.

But I would never pay $800.

He says they always end up having extra passes, but can't guarantee anything like 100%, and it would suck to go all the way there and not have that security of having a pass.

Maybe the lines are too big so they increase the price and don't mind if the lines smaller as a result of less people attending

I wouldn't pay half that to attend.

Honestly, I am content to watch online and use that money to buy a dozen games.

Why go when you can stream or wait at least a mere day or two later and watch them in higher quality?.

what?! why the fuck are they so expensive? totally not worth it.
