Forums - Nintendo - Will Xenoblade X "outshine" Zelda Wii U??

I've been thinking about it also. Xenoblade looks big and pretty. Zelda too, but there will be comparisions. Also, we have to see gameplay and story to see which one looks better. Judging solely on the E3 trailer, I can say that Zelda looks better, but we have to see direct footage and some other parts like towns, npcs and dungeons.

Well, looking at what they've shown of the new Zelda it looks amazing and Xenoblade X will have a hard time surpassing those scores. A home console Zelda always registers above 90 metacritic. I think both games will be great.

I am talking about game quality and review scores... Will people not remember Zelda WiiU so fondly because Xenoblade X left a much bigger impression? Will we look back and say "Zelda Wii U was great, but Xenoblade X was so much better" ??

I want to know what you guys think, sound off!

Hopefully two great pillars of epic gaming. That's what I'm thinking at this point. I'm equally psyched for both, just hope it isn't misdirected.

The original game is the most important piece of evidence one can get over the structure and the lengths the team will go to making a Xenoblade game.

But feel free to think that 300 hours is just the main quest, if that makes sense to you.

That is with all the side quests and collectables. I'm sure the main story wont be more than 60 hours. Same as Xenoblade.

That's actually play test time. Nothing about the lenght has been confirmed. It could be 100 or 300 hours at the end even with sidequests.

The original Xenoblade is far superior to every Zelda game.

I don't expect that to suddenly change.

 

This won't affect review scores, though. Zelda nostalgia is too massive.

o.O  Take it easy, man. When did I say that 300 hours was just the main quest?

When you said that 300h was 100% of the game you made it look like a fact. I know that the best evidence we have is the previous game but even so it's just a hunch. That's why I asked for a source. Now I know threre's no source.
