@Crazzyman: I saw the trailer. Help. I'm not convinced. Am I now a faillure in Sony's perfect world of graphics hypnosis? How do I reset myself to be like racing games with pretty graphics, when I only like pretty graphics when they're combined with gameplay that fits my taste? HELP!

No seriously though, GT5 is still far superior. Forza has like what maybe 100 cars? mmmmaaaayyybe 200? like 8 tracks or something? GT5 has almost 1000 cars and far more tracks. Plus 1080p at 60FPS! amazing!

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

GT5 looks amazing. No doubting that at all. Proper proper amazing.

But, to me, I just find it very boring.
If I were to buy it I'd just be picking up the same controller I used playing GT4, using the same controls.
It's just not very exciting.

Someone would have to be a pretty die-hard car / gaming fanatic to care if one game has 1000 car vs 200. 200 or even 100 is far more than enough for most people. Generally I tend to stick to the same car (once I find one that handles best for me) anyway.
