It is a important date for Gears series, because the first Gears is Coming the 12 November of 2006.

So, for celebrate the 10 Anniversary of Marcus, the game will released 10 years after.

If people want to play them that badly, get a 360. If the next Gears of War will be a sequel to 3, they'll need people going fresh because of 3's closed ending.
