So much Xbone optimism...but given Amazon has a much higher batting average than VGC when it comes to NPD prediction...I think we'll all know we're heading for a rerun of 2014's "Hopes vs NPD: A VGChartz Drama."

No. Microsoft made a massive effort in November and December, but every other month went to PS4. I think Sony is gauging how things will be at $350 v $400 right now as seem content to profit over fighting for bits of market share in NA. The concern for Microsoft has to be if Sony does drop to $350 this year are they willing to go sub $300 with games bundled this fall?

It is basically a tie at this point, which is a HUGE win for Sony as last gen it wasn't even a race in NA. If PS4 remains at par with X1 this generation that is a win.

With that being stated, the battle for America is still in the air and I could see it going either way this gen. But again, they can't be winning if they are, in fact currently losing.
