PS4 will win January NPD. Come February, the XB1 wil have the price drop advertised again in the weekly ads. The gap will shrink, but the XB1 will likely still stay behind the PS4 through the next few months in the US. But the yearly gap in the US by the end of 2015 will be a lot smaller than 2014 through 10 months. When the M$ fires up the year end sales, the gap will be gone and the XB1 will end up a sales leader in the US for 2015.

I doubt the X1 is really outselling the PS4 but it would be pretty hilarious if it won the January NPD after some of the talk on here. Check out either the Nov or Dec NPD thread on VizionEck, pretty hilarious.

according to VGC? Then of course its safe to say the XB1 is winning america. MS has finally turned things around and has the PS4 by the ropes. VGC tracking this gen AHS been absolutely spot on.

Handing the Xbox One a victory without it actually having said victory is belittling the Xbox brand. Such a handicap isn't necessary. Let it actually reclaim the US before we say it's winning.
