At the rate people make it out to be. Nothing is ever really constant. The earth probably cools and warms naturally over millions of years...just like all other processes like plate tectonics. Everything is gradual.

 It is quite real actually, and i blame wii fit for it.

 The overbloating of it...or Global Warming in general? Because warming and cooling is pretty much a natural process...even if only by a little. Though I agree about brainwashing to an extent. They're overbloating this thing big time. Slight changes in temperature aren't going to really affect anything majorly at all. 

Global warming is happening. This year things got a bit cooler, but we are definitely on an upward trend. It will take more than a year to reverse that.

Now the question is, what is the cause of global warming? Yes, an increase in CO2 levels should theoretically cause the Earth to warm, however, we have no conclusive evidence as to what effect the current levels of CO2 are having, and how much would be need to significantly alter the Earth's temperature. We honestly have no idea. All we know is that the Earth is warming up. However, the Earth's temperature has fluctuated all over the place for the past ~4.6 billion years, so for all we know, the Earth is just doing it's thing.

I don't see why the human race should suddenly cut back on everything and anything simply because there is a POSSIBILITY that we may be causing the Earth's temperature to rise. Should we take better care of the environment, and not waste resources left and right? Yes.  However, we shouldn't just stop living. Chances are, whatever we cut back will have little to no effect on the end result. The Earth is the Earth. It's not going to let some puny humans bitch it around.

The title's statement is exactly why there is a shift towards calling the phenomenon "climate change" instead of simply "global warming".

The ozone layer is weakening, and there will be much colder winters, and much warmer summers. Thats Global warming, not ITS HOT FOREVAZZ!!
