yea, it's not cheep, but then again, it's USB, so I am sure it will work with anything going forward (PS3/PC/PS4/XBox720). Plus it's 250 at some retailers, and it's leather and steel. What else could you ask for? :) |
The Logitech Driving Force Pro can be found for about $100. I highly recommend that as a more cost-effective alternative that still gives you a kickass experience. |
I much prefer the pedals for the G25. If you have the money, it's worth it to splurge on the G25. Especially if you are really into racing games/sims. Can't beat the clutch and shifter either. Well, ok, the shifter is a cheap POS, but once you get used to it, it's not that bad. Just wish it had a 7th gear :-/.
As for GT5 Prologue only having 6 tracks, it's plenty for me. I'm going to get a lot more play time out of these $40 than I got out of something like Folklore or Ratchet and Clank or Uncharted. Not that I regret buying any of those games, but GT5 Prologue is completely worth the price of admission for me. Hell I'll probably spend as much time just running time trials with several of the cars as I've spent on all of those games combined.
