^^^^^^^yes we would be saying that. but we are saying 6 tracks doesnt matter because we know its polyphony and gran turismo. those two always = perfection (except in gran turismo 4 but it was close enough)

 Yep, Original Ridge Racer had 1 track with 3 different routes. And then mirror tracks and then Game Over! :)

 I won't buy it though because I don't play non arcade racing games anymore. (keep girlfreind or score new wheels in Forza 2?) Otherwise I'd buy a PS3 just for it...

damn i wasting to much money on games. i wasted almost 300 bucks on my 360 when i sold it, and for my psp.

and i bought motorstorm, which was the biggest mistake in my life.

 yep, Motorstorm with it's limited tracks and DLC tracks. I need to buy Eagles Nest still.

This game is well worth the money in my opinion, there are many $60 that don't have as much content as this.

No, it really doesn't.  This game had basically leveled off at 300,000 before it was bundled in America, and then 70% of its current sales followed.

Motorstorm wasn't bundled until July of 2007, and by then it had ~800k in sales. And the game wasn't bundled in Europe, and it would have been a million seller in Europe alone. So I would go to say that you don't have to have a bajillion tracks to be a million seller.

while i'm a GT fan, i've never bought with any of the prologue or teaser games. I have the GT5 Prologue demo that was available on the japanese PSN for awhile and it's one hell of a game. However, I personally don't think it's worth it to drop $40 then drop another $60 for the full game. for someone into simulation racing games and perhaps likewise into real cars (which is an incredibly expensive hobby), $40 might be worth it to them.

IMO, if some contrived mini-game compilation (ala Carnival Games) is worth $40, something like gran turismo 5 prologue certainly is as well.
