This is one of the games i thought would benefit from a remaster as it was very demanding on last gen hardware due to all the real time envyronment changes.
I loved the game, despite ninja theory's offensive treatment of series fans and saw the game for what it was. The thing is... i played it to death already. I dont want to play it again, i want to play a sequal.
I still think that capcom would do well to continue both sub-series.

You must have missed the 3243274243 threads that demanded Sony's head for remastering The Last of Us. Ninty got no hate whatsover here. Calling it like I see it. I don't visit other forums, so I can't comment on that. The only people who brought up Ninty also remastering their games were the ones defending the Last of Us.

Lmao, yup!
Though I do think that this game is decent enough. The main problem I had with the console versions was the damn framerate, 60fps should be a must for these games!

Thx, not bad I guess, not a fan of these last gen ports but at least more people can give it a chance now, the hate on this was really unfair, maybe the story and the main character are ... stupid, but graphics and design were good and the gameplay was great.
But... was this game at 30fps on console versions? I played on PC and I believe it was 60fps on all versions... that´s the truly big change then XD This games must be at 60fps always.

That's pretty much the point of remasters, giving people a second chance to play the game in a better version.

But the artstyle required high res textures and nice particule effects to show its full potential, the game wouldn't have looked half as good if they valued 60fps over everything else.

It's Portcom my friend. You'll get a sequel when the game's been re-re-released on every possible console and handheld, HD-ified and deluxe editioned -- twice.

Don't you mean if Nintendo did it it would be perfectly okay because it's "remake" whilst whenever anyone else does it, it's just a "port"? ;)
That said, there are quite a few older 3D Nintendo games I'd love to see given a HD lick and 60fps and I have no problem with all these proper versions of games (i.e. 60fps) finally being made.

Maybe if sales are good, they will. I remember reading somewhere that if Resident Evil REmake HD had good sales (and you can bet they will eventually release Zero HD as well) they would think about doing Resident Evil 2 REmake.
So, there could be a chance. The problem is that I think DMC4 will obstruct DmC's sales.
