It's really hard to say. There aren't many high profile titles this year but it seems Wii U is becoming more popular, and getting more media attention, advertising, etc. A lot of games out now too. Although, something we learned from last year is that one game won't push Wii U sales alone. Smash barely boosted its system in the short term but will in the long run. Mario Kart is the exception. Actually, it might be that a lot of the fans waiting for Smash picked up a console in the weeks after MK8 launched.

Smash and Mario Kart already have it selling, there's 11 retail games coming out this year, and with that many games there's no excuse not to advertise, which will then get sales, and people will buy Wii U if it goes down to $249

Since when has Nintendo needed an excuse not to advertise?

It's not impossible, but then again, it's also technically not impossible for every non-weighted 6-sided die ever rolled from this day forward to land on a 6 everyy single time.

But I see you changed the question so, unmless the price goes down to 200, I do think it's unlikely.

I think it's impossible for wii u to sell less in 2015 than it did in 2014.

change your wording lol is this intentionally suppose to screw with my head

Wii U + PS4

Consoles>Mobile

If there is a big price cut then I think it will sell better in 2015.

If they drop the price early in the year, I´m almost 100% sure that it will sell more in 2015 (maybe up to 40% more)

Now, if they keep the same price (or wait until holiday to drop it) then I think it will sell less. Why? well, this year it will be competing with a $350 X1, and (unless you're a hardcore Nintendo fan) I think it will be really hard to convince people to pick up a console where they are going  to be missing most of the popular games coming in the next few years, for almost the same price.

Not to mention the fact that, it is almost certain that it will also be competing with an even cheaper PS360. And to be honest, I think most of the sales the Wii U has lost in the last two years, it has lost it to these two guys. I think most of the (now teenagers) boys who got a Wii as a gift from their parents when they were kids, are now getting the PS360 to catch up with all the games they had missed on the 7th gen.

50% chance.
2014: mario kart avaliable in june and smash in november.
2015:smash and mario kart are avaliable since the beggining of year
2014: no zelda
2015: zelda
2014: no price drop
2015: price drop is likely

i would bet in 2015.
