I'm toying with the idea of Greatest Permabanned User. The winner each years gets an extensive campaign to be unpermabanned.

The only reason I'm reluctant is in case it's someone I don't like who wins :P

Wait, did you not know Makingmusic in real life? I always just assumed that was the case ;_; I have a few more users from vgc around on various accounts. Even met Son1x in real life when he came to NC last spring. Cool guy :) 

Skeezer, Luinil, Zexen_lowe, Clown, Supermario, and Loveoo(or any of his various alts)  are all doing well with what they are doing. A quick check of facebook shows that Falcon095 and Fazz are both alive and being themselves.  

SHMUPGurus is currently working at a pretty well known game development house :)

Damn. I should have hungout with more real people in High school. I am sure there are many more. I remember ne person from vgc IM that I chatted with constantly. He was a contributor for the site. But then ran into a ton of problems at home and disappeared. Came back for one day and then disappeared again =/

I got to know makingmusic and Zucas through VGC. Both of them lived near me, so it was easy to get together every now and then. Zucas even made it into my wedding. I agree with just about every person you listed too. Lots of great people.

I miss onyxmeth.
I remember I once posted a thread about ps3 having a price drop and wrote a bunch of nonsense and then linked my source to a story about blumpkins. He only gave me a warning for it but we seemed to get along after that. I think he secretly liked it but had to fulfill his modly duties.
