Hey guys,

I have a UK Playstation Plus Account, I'm thinking about buying a Hong Kong Vita. Every month I've been "accepting" the Vita games to my IGC just in case this day comes.

However, when I tried to play the USA version of CoD:AW on my UK PS4, my day-zero code did not work because the DLC codes were region locked.

Will such region locking also be an issue with my Vita? As it's a Hong Kong Vita, and all my IGC games are UK PSN.

Codes probably don't work for other regions but you'll nave no problem using your UK psn account on a vita from Hong Kong and using all your digital content as well.

Ah great, awesome news. Think I'll get one tomorrow after work :)

UK PSN account SHOULD work with all UK content

But you can't ever change region

Create one account to download from desired region. After download you can play with any account in the system... At least that is how psn Works in ps3/4

The console isn't region locked. What you can't do is to activate a US code in a EU account. If you buy a asian Vita but put your UK account on it, it will get all IGC games from UK.

In the home console, the digital copies aren't region locked. I can download a game on my Brazilian account and play it logged in the US one. Of course, this won't work on Vita since it only holds one account. But in the end, buy the Vita anywhere in the world and just put the account of the country you want on it.

The only region locked consoles will probably be the Chinese ones.

Try to register the dlc with a us account on your ps4, i think doesnt has somthing to do with consoles but accounts

Ka-pie. Can't transfer the download made on ps3/4 to Vita or download via PC?

Bought it. Was 1600hkd for the unit + 32gb memory card, or roughly 200usd for comparison.

Downloading my psn+ stuff just fine, also purchased sly trilogy. Looks like I already have stuff to play for my journey home.

Thanks guys, your info was great!
