Driving games more popular in Europe + Not including in bundles = NPD result of only 84k.

It was the best selling exclusive of the year in the UK, beating out MK8, Smash bros, Last Of Us, Infamous, MC Collection and Sunset Overdrive. So yes, the bundles made a massive difference.

So what does Europe liking driving games have to do with this?

Meaning that driving games ultimately don't do great in USA. Because their preferred market is elsewhere?

It's the same reason why a game like Battlefield won't do as well in Japan, as the FPS genre performs better in the USA as Japan doesn't have a huge taste for it. FIFA = Europe + South America. Madden + MLB = USA. I thought we knew this..

Regardless including bundlles Driveclub sold very well in the US.

No why bring Europe in the NPD equation? You could just put "driving games not popular in the US" then, you make it sound like Europe is a part of the US.

Are you really arguing semantics? No, my wording does not make it sound like Europe is a part of the US.

Driving games are not popular in the US is the same as saying Driving games are more popular outside of the US with an example, in this case, Europe.

I fail to see what about that would make a geographically ignorant person think Europe is apart of the US?

edit: Almost the same as saying*

I think its really pointless bringing up other nations is what I am trying to say.

I'm mentioning other territories as part of the reason for low sales. The biggest reason for the low sales is not including in bundled sales. Driveclub sold a lot.

The  one of the answers to "Why didn't Advanced Warfare sell millions in Japan" is that FPS games are more popular in other regions like USA and Europe.
I don't see your problem with thism it is not pointless, it is the point.

Can you please explain this by the way?

This conversation is becoming pointless, let's just end it here.

Look at the big picture, the games doing fine in EU. Some people think the world revolves around the US.

Except this is US sales only not "the big picture".

The games selling fine WW so US sales doesn't matter. Plus the game has like onr American car lmao.

DC did so well in europe because it was pretty massively bundled there from my understanding.

And racing games do fine in America.  Go look at Forza, Gran Turismo, as well as others as an example

So it sold less in the US than Bayo 2, but has been on the market longer. That's interesting to know.

They don't do nearly as well as they do in Europe. Also I know, which is why it was apart of my explanation of why it did 84k. DC was heavily bundled and boosted sales WW, and NPD don't track bundled sales.

Actually US sales do matter because the topic IS about US sales LOL.

Forza sells more in america than europe.  Same goes to gran turismo.

No, NPD doesnt track europe.  Driveclub was exclusively bundled in europe, not america.  The american bundles were littlebigplanet and gran theft auto.

I wonder how many times in this thread people are going to have to say there was no bundle in the US.
