Forums - Gaming - Who's Got Marketing Rights To Battlefield Hardline?

LMAO is that the real cover? Is this a Battlefield game or a GTA wannabe? This game is going to flop.

I just noticed that if you type 'Battlefield' into Youtube or Google the first thing to pop up is Battlefield 4; the second is Hardline. Definitely not much hype for the game.

Nope. They just side with whoever opens the checkbook and writes the bigger numbers. Sony paid big for Destiny (Activision) & Microsoft probably paid bigger for Titanfall (EA).

Nah, I mean that in general that EA has made deals with Sony. And Activision with Microsoft.

So what I was saying is that Sony would probably be the one who is marketing the game

Titanfall disagrees.

Anyway looks like sony have a lot ofadvertising to do between this, Bloodborne and the order.

It all depends really,

When it comes with FIFA and EA, they always side with Playstation, especially on Europe.

Madden has always sided with Xbox

Plants VS Zombie GW was first on X1.

Also This first quarter is all playstation, Only games that are advertized by Microsof is witcher 3 and Evolve.

EA definitely pushed BF3/MoF/MoH:WF on PS3 to go against CoD, but it really isn't that clear nowadays. MS had exclusive content for BF4, and Sony will market Hardline.

Battlefield Hardline is coming out on March 17. Proably the highest-profile release in the first quarter. Whoever gets the marketing rights(and bundles!) will have a big advantage.

So who do you think it is? Microsoft or Sony?

Really? I feel there's a lot more hype for the two PS4 exclusives (Bloodborne/The Order) than this offshoot Battlefield game has ever had. Are people really that excited for this game? Especially after the disastrous Battlefield 4 launch.

Seems like an awful lot of exceptions.  Bf4, dragon age, fifa, madden and titanfall.  that's just off the top of my head within 12 months. Oh and ea access too.  If anything they side with ms more.

Just not. Fifa in the EU and WW had an exclusive xbox bundle,  advertising and exclusive content. Then add titanfall,  madden,  dragon age, ea access and bf4 all within 12 months plus more I've forgotten.  You just can't say ea side with Sony.

Wrong. FIFA 15(and I believe 14 as well) was marketed by Microsoft with bundles and everything. In Europe.

As for PvZ, I believe that that game, Titanfall and whatever else XBO had first/exclusively was part of a launch contract. I wouldn't expect to see any more of these kinds of exclusive or first-on-Xbox games now that PS4 has pulled ahead by a significant margin.

Double lol. These games beg to differ.
