Ninbox, former Playtendo and Super Amiga Entertainment before that.

Never understood people that are all about one single platform.

I owned consoles from all 4 over the years. I buy consoles based on potentail, exclusives etc. This gen im firmly in the wii u/ps4 camp and have no desire for microsoft. Last gen however i.was sony/microsoft and wasnt very keen on nintendo.

When I started with consoles I became a Sega fan because my first console was a Mega Drive/Genesis and I really liked it. I had many discussions, friendly discussions, with some friends who had a SNES. Thankfully, we argued very little about tech specs and more about games. Fun times.

But Sega went out of the console business and that (and being older) made me realize how silly is being a fan of a brand.

So now I'm happy to say that I'm not a fan of neither of them.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Combination of Nintendo and Sony ! :)

Used to be a Sega fanboy, until they left the hardware business and threw me into depression for 2 years. I forgave them and decided it wasn't that bad. I can still play their games on other consoles. But now they are acting like uptight virgins unwilling to give it up. It's like they don't want me to like them.

So today I will side with the Xboners. They don't have many friends and I feel bad for them. It's like being at lunch in school and nobody wants to sit with you. People shouldn't have to feel like that.

Easy choice for me, Nintendo.

The reason I suppose is that I like their own franchises, especially Zelda but also the Mario games. And now and then it pops up some new interesting games for their consoles. A lot of nostalgia for me since Nintendo created console gaming, for me at least. Despite the lack of third party support their consoles are haunted with, their own games always deliver.

If I had to pick a secondary it would also be pretty easy, and it's PlayStation.

The reason here is pretty much the same but with less nostalgia to it. They have some game series like Uncharted that I really enjoy, and they always have "the better" console. Be it the very best or one of the best, I can always rely on the hardware. Many in-house devs and good third party support as well.

As for Sega and Microsoft I have never really felt anything for them. I did enjoy the Sonic games however, and now that MS has the Banjo series I can only grow to like them more. I hope they can really make a great new installment with Banjo Threeie, I wish for it to blow everyones minds and just be as awesome as the other two games. Oh how I miss those games...

I'm not a fan of companies or consoles. I'm a fan of games. All three of them had great games.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I am a video game fan. When each company reaches an acceptable number of quality games that I want to play I buy that system.

5th Gen - PlayStation
6th Gen - PlayStation/Nintendo
7th Gen - Xbox
8th Gen - Nintendo/Xbox

It depends on the games really, but those are my preferences above.

Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

I first was a Playstation fan with the PS2, then I became a Xbox fan with the Xbox 360 and then I became a Nintendo fan with the Wii U.
