I mean like a mini game, a $20 - $40 dollar game , a minor game, because "it did't have enought content" I love how people assumed that based on a trailer and gameplay of one level!!

Look, if this game still only has one online mode, like they said in this trailer, then it absolutely be a $40 game. One mode is not enough for a $60 shooter.

It has a single player mode to.

Some games whitout ANY "online mode" are still "full" price

(and theere could very well be more "modes")

And there will be, just wait until the Splatoon focused direct! Even for Mario Kart 8 we didn't know about other modes for the longest time afterall.

...99% of online shooters have a single player mode. As cool as this one looks, it's very obviously not going to compare with the single player campaign of most single player only games, of which 99% shouldn't be $60 either. When you have games like Call of Duty with a dozen multiplayer modes, the one Splatoon mode doesn't cut it.

They specifically called the online multiplayer mode. Singular. It's only Turf Wars. Then a single player mode, which shouldn't even be called a mode. It's just a campaign. Than a local multiplayer mode. Three modes.

Damn my inability of supporting more than one console per gen. I'm gonna miss this title, and that's awful.

Splatoon 2 a launch title for Nintendo Gen 8, super realistic paint/liquid physics and simulation in toe.

Eh, they already confirmed they were working on more multiplayer modes at E3... Look at the Nintendo Treehouse episodes they uploaded (coming from the mouths of the actual developers). They also said there you could change your main weapon before the start of the game (which was only shown at the direct today). So it's not like they're lying...

Unless the next is the Fusion system, I'll choose the handheld over the home console, because Pokemon and I prefer handheld gaming.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
