Holy shit, how did i manage to go over a day without noticing this have been announced?! I was never previously much of a fan of the series, but Awakening was fantastic. Hopefully they don't spend too long faffing about with the localization of this one ¬_¬

They're only 130 people strong and have 3 projects in development. It's called being realistic. SMT is awful imo. HD projects often take 2-3 years to develop. Will Wii U still be supported in 2017-2018? |
Well, Codename STEAM is likely finished or almost finished by now. Fire Emblem looks a good way along already, and they've been working on SMTxFE alongside Atlus for over 2 years now, so I can't see that taking much longer.
Paper Mario will happen regardless. It's never skipped a home console, and I can see it coming out next year tbh.

After the massive success Awakening had in NA, I don't see this being an issue this time. :)

I believe Metroid, Paper Mario and Fire Emblem will skip Wii U.
I wouldn't mind being wrong of course.

Honestly, I don't see any of those not happening. We know nothing about 2016's releases, so it's very likely that any (or all) of those titles could fall in that time frame.
I feel that Metroid is happening, and I think it will be this year's big E3 reveal.
So no fire emblem for Wii U? What a shame.

Unfortunately i live in the EU ¬_¬ I'm pretty sure Nintendo have a fetish for making us wait. Awakening did much better than previous installments here too though, so hopefully i won't have to wait too long before i can start obsessing over it :p

To be fair, that seems to be the case with most Nintendo titles, and considering it did better with Awakening, I can see them being faster this time around. Although, this is Nintendo we're talking about, and they seem to defy all logic at times. I guess we just have to be hopeful. :P

Nintendo's undefinable logic is part of their charm. Every day is a possible Christmas day when you have no idea when anything might release!
I'll have my fingers crossed though.
