It's a shame. The Z3 is an awesome phone, would be a shame if the line ended there. You should see some of the underwater selfies I've taken with it. And Remote play works pretty good on the Z3 too.

Is the Z3 officially supported for remote play? Are you able to use the DS4 with the phone?

Since I got the z3 compact i now love taking showers.  Many of my vgchartz posts have happened while washing lol

Is the Z3 officially supported for remote play? Are you able to use the DS4 with the phone?

Yep, I played about and hour of Dragon Age Inquisition on it with DS4. I just don't have the doohikie to attach the phone to the DS4 so i don't have to prop the phone up against anything to get a comfortable viewing angle. It's bloody hopeless having it lie flat on a table. It was not absolutely smooth and I would never want to play multiplayer FPS on it. But if you don't have access to your TV and have a hankering to play some single player game that doesn't require millisecond timing then it does just fine.

That's a dam shame to hear, I'm loving my Xperia Z1 (the best phone I've ever own to date) and will want to continue getting their phones when the time comes to upgrade.

Friend of mine just got the Z3 Compact and its gorgeous (wasted on her she doesn't game).

I am due a new phone in 3 months, I was considering the full size Z3 but if they are going to drop support...
