As for the topic... Does it really surprise you? Gamestop tries to all manner of shady things. They once tried to tell me that a crack in a used disc they were trying to sell me was just a "scratch" and that the disc still works.... I just walked out.

Many people say gamestop have packaging machines to package used games as new. At the end of the day its just a small plastic. Anyone can wrap it again.
