If they release another Pokemon title during the 3DS lifecycle, they will make people tired of Pokemon. Just wait for the Pokemon Solaris/Lunaris for the HDS or the Fusion (or maybe a Colisseum/XD remake for the WiiU, who knows).

I highly doubt that. The DS had Diamond and Pearl, Platinum, Black and White, Black and White 2 and Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

The series is doing just fine.

Meh, if anything, they should do a Pokemon Yellow remake. Gen 1 is the only gen that can't be played on 3DS at the moment. So I'd much rather have that.

I also love this idea, quite frankly I could use a year without pokemon. I usually can only muster up enough money for 1 game a year and Pokemon > all is my way of life.

Pokemon games will always "canibalize" prior entries. They make more money from the same people buying new games than they do from new people buying old ones.
