Well, they did change the entire Engine to Unreal Engine 4 last october so I doubt it has any chance in coming out in 2015. The Voice Acting could be done long before that since Voice Acting can be done without any reliance on the Engine

He also said that Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded was Kingdom Hearts 3, and made Squeenix explicitly say that the game doesn't have a confirmed release date.

The game has been in development for years. It wont be rushed. September sounds like the perfect time for it to come out.


No, not really, the game began ACTUAL game development back in 2013 when the first trailer came out, Nomura began working on the story and concepts for KH3 since 2010. When he still was the director for FFXV he stated that when Team-1's staff finished working on FFXV he would take the entire team to work on KH3, right now KH3 is being developed by the Osaka team, the ones who made Birth by Sleep and 3D, this team is very small compared to FFXV's staff. They had to start from scratch recently when they decided to move the game to the Unreal 4 engine.

AKA. The game has like 6 months of development AT BEST, don't expect the game to come out any time soon.

Lol no. Weve seen the game once and it was a concept gameplay trailer. Not only that but when you look at what the team has been doing their is no way it will be done by then.

Pretty much. It was just a few weeks ago that somebody from the dev team said they still haven't finalized whch worlds will be in the game, there's pretty much no way it's releasing in 2015 if they still haven't finalized which worlds will be in the game. I'm hoping for a late 2015 Kingdom Hearts Collection release on PS4 and Xbox One (Square Enix recently said they were considering KH Collection on PS4 and XB1), followed by a KH3 release in late 2016. 

Exactly. I'm hoping for a collection as well before the game comes out and they frankly need one for XBO or else the same thing as Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will happen. Also, they recently switched to Unreal Engine 4 and all the recent news has been about Final Fantasy XV. It's more realistic to believe that game will release this holiday. But, honestly I'd be happy if either game makes 2015.
