I did not see this one coming. The Wii still shifting good software long after it's HW sales went down. 

Week ending the 27th of December,

VGchartz has :

Wii U - 2.1M

Wii - 2.3M

PSP also shifted over 300k units for the week (lol). 

And as Tak pointed out below PS3 beat the PS4 and the 360 beat the X1. Legs in the old dogs yet!

In case you didn't see just dance 2015 on wii reached 1.40m and other games like mkwii and NSMBWII have still huge sales,etc!This kills the mean comments about wii,you know which comments!;)

in fairness the HW sales died a death many years ago but obviously a few million have stuck with it and our buying games. These people likely don't have a Wii U so Ninty have a bigger home console fanbase than people may think.

This kind of thing is naturally not surprising. The old systems have vast libraries of software.

i wasn't picking on anyone. just went through the list from the bottom up, see the wii doing really well and made the thread. tak pointed out interesting facts about the others and i added them in. don't worry there's no conspiracy here. 

Although Wii is dead now, you are still comparing a console with 100m install base vs console with a 9m install base

well tbh the x360 and ps3 games still look decent. Its no near close when the ps1 was succeeded by the ps2 for example.
