Forums - General - LoZ Windwaker. What did you think of the game.

I thought it was fun, cute, fluid, engaging, stylish, beautiful.

Oh and too easy.

I absolutely loved this game. For me, Wind Waker had the best boss fights of any 3d Zelda. Specifically the Ghoma, Molgera, and Ganon were fights I could do over and over again and never get tired of them. I lucked out on the 8 triforce pieces too, because at that point in the game I was working on finishing up all the side quests I had started. I actually got a little miffed when I would pull up a triforce bit instead of rupees or something else I was looking for.

That being said I did cheat when it came to the sailing portions of the game. My TV had picture in picture so I would just switch back and forth between a movie and the game when sailing got too tedious.

CIHYFS?

One thing that stuck in my memory was crawling around the outside of that guard tower, whatever you call it, where Link's sister was trapped.

The style of that tower, combined with crawling around the outside being stealthy was so fun.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I loved this game, however it was a little too easy and simply didn`t hold enough replay value for me, like OoT did. I had no issue's with the art style or graphics. I found them quite charming and unique.

I thought the dungeons were so creative and exuding with uniqueness. Each one is so different from the last. The graphics were AMAZING!!! I think most ppl who hate it, only hated it b/c they wanted a "mature" Zelda (GTA & Halo--mature games on other systems--were making headlines at the time, i think)... so a lot of ppl, including myself at first, were thrown off a bit. But i bit my tongue as soon as i played it--the ending was well worth it--i closed my eyes there for a bit haha

The Zelda aeries is Nintendo's best. I love Pokemon and Mario's okay, but Zelda has had really no crappy games, ever. Very nice. I might play this again on my Wii. Then Brawl. Then back to my PS3.

WW is one of the coolest game ever created... its only flaws were the sea travels without any fights, or nearly so, and the pace in the last part, a little bit too slow, and didn't add anything to the story...

But the design was nearly perfect, the dungeons were impressive and fun, it had humor and style, and yes, cuteness, but in the best sense i could imagine... the best "cartoon" game ever imho...

This was the game i bought a Gamecube for, and it was also the very first game i've played with my kids, who were 4 and 5 years old back then: some of my best gaming moments ever, they really were into it, and supported me all the way thru the end of the game as they were living the quest with me... great memories...

All Zelda's are awesome games, and if i can't say which one is "the best", i know WW will always have a very special place in my heart, and all the haters of the world won't change anything, ever...
