I think Sony is least similar to Sega. None of them are really comparable to Sega tbh...
Sega knew how to make fun gameplay that just kept you playing, thanks to their Arcade gaming roots which was centered around sucking your quarters. Today gaming focuses on being cinematic and is "story", graphics and hype driven. Gameplay however tends to be shoehorned in around these things which are clearly more important to gamers.
You can definetly tell a Sega game when you play it. Bayonetta is a game that has a classic Sega feel, as is Geometry wars for example.
Actually I think the closest thing to classic Sega games are mobile iOS and Android games. The good ones anyways...
