You keep using the word fact. I don't think it means what you think it means.

For your first sentence to be a fact period you would need to know the data for all the weeks since October. Being in the Amazon thread you would think you'd use that data, though that contradicts your statement so obviously you don't find it as factual. Next you could be using this sites data but this site itself says they are estimates and we all know they get adjusted so also not factual. NPD doesn't have weekly data so, please tell me where you get your facts?

Well it seems we got some proves from the Amazon january thread.

 

1) Price isn't 95% of the reason of a product success, its perceived quality and value is and anyone denying that is delusional

 

2) Some preffer to believe in the set of data (no matter how innacurate) that better pushes his point.

 

3) VGC even after taking 3 weeks to post numbers didn't took in consideration price hike and will have to adjust.

Last January NPD was a 4 week period. The first 5-week NPD "month" was March. So January NPD will have sales from Jan. 3 - 30. In other words, today is the last day.
