PS4 has 2 Sku's on the first page and xbox has one. Xbox is behind

I find that a tad disingenuous. Currently the XB1 is leading on that list and that's just how it is. It will be interesting to see how TLOU bundle effects thing but until then his statement is true.

But how does that add up? XB1 could be 10,000 and the two PS4 SKU's could be 8,000 combined.

So it looks like the X1's baseline will be lower than the PS4's despite having a $50 price advantage. And this is before PS4 begins to have The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, MLB 15: The Show, etc. to temporarily boost sales.

Let me say this before I get charged with something I never said... I own a PS4... my GF is currently sitting next to me, playing Minecraft on said PS4... I actually like my PS4... but if we're going to be honest here, those games are not casual enough to warrant much of a boost if any boost at all. The types of games that really boost consoles are the ones with mass appeal like MK8, Titanfall, Halo, COD... you get the picture.

This whole thing where fanboys are up in arms over the Xbone taking the US, it's nonsense because it's inevitable. I don't think they should be conerned with it. Of course, a fanboy is a fanboy for a reason, and being rational is not one of those, but really, it's stupid. The PS4 is going to win in total WW sales.

There's nothing inevitable about the X1 taking over the US (obviously, as Amazon is just one of several outlets that has the PS4 ahead again). I also don't know what Minecraft has to do with anything. I didn't see anyone suggest that it was some system boosting title for the PS4.

Yea, I'm confused, too.  Is the bestsellers lists on some of these sites what an inevitable XBO takeover looks like?  Will the XBO takeover even faster (as in the PS4 pulling farther ahead on these lists) when the PS4 also hits $349 permanently?

I agreed with you earlier but now you're entering a different conversation in which HE'S probably right about sales 'overall'. You are right, it could be that the combined sales of both PS4 SKUs might add up to less than the 1 XB1 SKU. I think it's safer to assume though that the two PS4 SKUs add up to more than the single XB1 SKU. One makes sense while the other comes across as wishful thinking.

But you are right in your statement that the XB1 leads on the list.

when someone has to mention what system they own before they go on and give their thoughts about it as if were true, inevitable? Yeah right.......You know what's up. By the way, XB1 has passed PS4 on BB charts. Lets see how long it last.

The reason people have to say that is people of people like you lol. On the internet, you're considered the "f" word is you have an opinion on anything. So, you have to preface it with "I own bla bla bla". It's ridiculous.

In my experience, that's not the case.  Most of the time it's just fans of other consoles trying to give their voice more credibility when they bash the console that they "own."  However, looking at all their past comments, it's pretty obvious which console they prefer and which they bash constantly, so it make their claim to own the latter one highly suspect.

You can't say one way or another with 100% confidence. Logically one PS4 skew outsold the Xbox One skew.  Now we have two different skews, one neck and neck with the Xbox One and a brand new skew on the first page.

For all we know it could be 10,000 Xbox One, 9,000 PS4 and 8,000 PS4. We don't know the difference between any of the splits, but we do know when the PS4 was outselling the Xbox One when their was only one PS4 skew that offerred less value for the money. Logically it's more likely that PS4 overall sales>Xbox One overall sales.  I think it's going to take a couple days to get the true picture. Unless the new bundle really outperforms the Xbox One, in that case it'd be much quicker. Right now I can't even buy the bundle at 15, it says coming soon which is holding back sales.

The Order seems to be performing nicely on all Amazons, 1 month away from release

In US, both SKUs ahead of Evolve's single SKU. Standard 90-110, CE 160-180, Premium sold out months ago

In UK, already #83 in yearly chart (there are 2 SKUs)

In FR, already #43 in yearly chart (despite being split in 3 SKUs)

In DE, already #64 in yearly chart (despite being split in 3 SKUs)

Was already doing well in EU but the latest trailers really helped it start climbing in the US and UK charts.
Just for curiosity's sake, it's ahead of Evolve in all of these amazons, despite being further away from release. Despite a beta built for hype, ads and plenty of awards, Evolve interest seems to be fairly modest. Either that or The Order's just doing better than one would imagine

I'll be interested in seeing how things stand for Bloodborne in the same time frame (1 month before release)

Yeah my main point was that we don't know the actual sales but fact is XB1 is currently leading on that chart. Adding those numbers just went into a different territory. Sorry.

I think Evole's lack of interest probably stems from them announcing how they are tackling DLC, and the prices that go along with it.  I think people are just getting tired of DLC milking.  Especially for small things like 6-7 new characters for $25.

And the fact that it just doesn't look all that interesting and the gaming media seems to have an agenda towards it.
