Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Extends Digital Deluxe Promotion

UPDATE: no, wait, its not. You see, the note is saying that you have to "get the codes" that you got till march, because in april you will cannot get them anymore(they will probably close the site). Then, you will have to activate the codes till june.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

It's extended.
If not for this "bonus", you could have only traded in your points for a card, until yesterday. Now you get 3 more months for that. And those codes got to be used until end of June.

My guess is either Nintendo wants to let new users take advantage of the program OR that new reward program Iwata mentioned before, ended up being internally postponed.

Nope, not extended. You could earn points until yesterday. You always had until the end of March to exchange your points for codes. And then you have always had longer than that to redeem your codes on the eShop.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

I think i misread it.
The text in the website doesn't state that you can add new points, only implies that you can use the existing points to redeem a code until March and then use it until end of June.

Basically, it's this line in the website that remains unchanged: "Earn points on all digital purchases made through Dec 2014."
