I think I misplaced my Sony Gold Headset Dongle somewhere around my house. Even though I have a good idea where it is, my long distance friend offered me the dongle to his Pulse Elite Headset (his headphones broke long ago). It says that the headset is compatible with the PS4, and the adapters seem to be the same. The dongle is also reset-able. Is is possible to pair my Sony Gold to a different adapter? Each dongle is not coded to the headset. I know that this isn't true, tested it myself.

Nope, there linked and cannot use a different adapter unless you got some leet hacking skills
