I earlier today finally purchased a 3DS XL i could not take using the puny 3ds any longer.

I tried to chat with one of my friends on Omega Ruby to see what it was like and it says something about child protection act and i have to disable it in parental controls... Keep in mind this 3ds xl is brand new. Why are the parental controls set in the fkin first place? So i go and try to turn it off so I can chat. And its making me make an account and have it reviewed in 24 hours or longer like what and the fuck Nintendo? my normal 3ds when I bought it was not like this.

Anyone have this issue I do not wanna wait... Oh and yes I made my account over 13... I am a 32 year old man!

i tried to make it 2014 but after 1999 it resets to 0

This is so stupid.

It would be ok if it was a god damn 24 hour long wait. if it was like an hour or less id be fine either way though unacceptable to assume anything on your consumer like this
