That's not gonna happen, digital doesn't even make up 50% of game sales, hell its not even close, physical still dominates.

I think you misunderstood A digital SKU for replacing every SKU with a digital only one.

It's 100% guaranteed that the PS4 is going to receive a price cut next year, most likely at E3 or TGS. I'm guessing it will be cut to $349, which will still allow Sony to make a profit on HW and keep the PS4's momentum going. Of course, if they want to completely destroy the XBO's chances of gaining any marketshare back, it'll drop to $299. I don't expect that til 2016, though, with the except of a few Black Friday bundles in 2014.

It's pretty obvious that they will go for a new SKU in 2015 to cut manufacturing cost.

Nope, i disagree. Lower manufacturing costs doesnt equate to a new sku. Besides, the ps4 is practically already a ps4slim compared to the xb1. I expect we see a ps4slim at least one year after whenver ms releases a slim xb1
